sinopsis The iconic British progressive jazz-rock band, which celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2026, is a constantly evolving musical concept. Its lineup has evolved with over two dozen musicians having played in the band on albums or live, such as Robert Wyatt, Hugh Hopper, Mike Ratledge, Elton Dean, Karl Jenkins, John Marshall, John Etheridge, Allan Holdsworth, or founders Daevid Allen and Kevin Ayers, but also musicians such as Jack Bruce, Theo Travis, a stalwart of the band, and others.
Recently, Soft Machine will release its new studio album with the current line-up, simply titled "Thirteen," followed by a world tour.
