sinopsis:

With a history spanning more than three decades, the band founded and led by pianist and composer Robert John Godfrey is still today faithful to its progressive blend of symphonic music, space rock and neoclassical music, which it has been playing since the latter half of the seventies, at which time The Enid became one of the largest cult bands in the UK.
Their solid compositions are based strongly on British post-romantic music, influenced by composers such as Elgar, Bax, Vaughan-Williams and Britten, which Godfrey spices up with elements from rock music into a blend «somewhere in-between Pink Floyd and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra», as stated to the point in a British magazine.
